4 SEO Experts on Content, Ranking, and SEO Success [Videos]

If you are anything like me, then you must be very curious about a lot of things. I happen to be driven by something called “mastery,” a common word to describe extensive knowledge of a specific skill or subject matter. As I work with a fantastic team of content marketers, I recently became curious about how Search Engine Optimization (SEO) really works. Working in the technology space, curiosity is essential for staying informed, as well as learning new skills and discovering ways to innovate. If mastery is the destination, then curiosity could very well be the fuel.

I must admit that though even though I had a general understanding on what SEO is all about, I have found out that there is much more than meets the eye. You may already know that SEO is a cost-effective tactic for driving sales leads and helping your brand reputation, but did you know that it has a high ROI and that it can help your content become more relevant for your audience? And it doesn’t stop there!

Just like any curious person out there, sometimes all I need is a solid starting point, which I now wish to share with you. Here are 4 videos from SEO experts that will put you on the path to SEO success.

1. Jay Baer interviews Lee Odden, author of Optimize: How to Attract and Engage More Customers by Integrating SEO, Social Media, and Content Marketing.

2. Aaron Davis chats with Danny Dover, author of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Secrets, about what comes after knowing the basics of SEO and some key distinctions between SEO consulting for small businesses and Fortune 500 companies.

3. Lon Safko, author of The Fusion Marketing Bible, explains how to rank high on Google using “freshness, content, and link-love.”

4. Susan Sweeney, author of 101 Ways To Promote Your Website, discusses tips for SEO success in a presentation for women in business at eLearningU.
